The new 75’ long structure is comprised of a superstructure consisting of four precast prestressed box beams supporting an 8” reinforced concrete deck slab. Existing abutment and wingwalls were rehabilitated and reused. The design was accelerated and completed in less than 9 months to meet MassDOT’s aggressive schedule.
