GM2 provided contract management and an array of consulting engineering services for the development of a new Army Reserve Center in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This new facility includes a 20,000 square foot reserve center to accommodate 100 members, and a 600 square foot cold storage building. Both buildings required compliance with ATF and ADA standards. The space includes an arms vault, classrooms, kitchen, assembly hall, and administrative offices. Site work entailed parking for military and privately owned vehicles and the extension of utilities. Special attention was given to the aesthetics of the facility. The designs intent was to provide a warm welcoming environment, flexible training space and consideration to local architecture. The new reserve center was designed under LEED Silver specifications.

GM2’s services included the preparation and implementation of a project specific Health and Safety Plan.
