GM2 performed a topographic survey over 42+/- acres, including setting of vertical benchmarks, for the design and construction of improvements to the New London State Pier for future use as a fabrication and staging area for offshore wind projects off the coast of New England.  GM2 prepared a digital terrain model (DTM) with contours drawn at 0.5 foot intervals. The existing ground grades were incorporated into the DTM and shown in text format in a planimetric mapping model with a precision of 0.01'. Information on the location and designation of all surface features and subsurface utilities based on record mapping was integrated in the plan for consideration during design of the new facilities.
