$176.8M Design-Build project that will reconfigure the North Interchange to include a collector-distributor system along I-295. The project includes 8 miles of concrete and asphalt roadway, along with 13 bridges constructed using concrete FIB girders, approximately 4000 lf of noise wall and over 700,000 sf of MSE wall. Also included are numerous drainage structures, sidewalks, erosion control devices, MOT control for phased construction and roadway, signage, ITS, and lighting structures. The asphalt and concrete riding surfaces were constructed on engineered embankments. A 15-person team of engineers and inspectors is providing CEI to FDOT.
