Ronald Sacchi, PE

Ron Sacchi, P.E. recently joined GM2 and serves as its Transportation Manager.  He brings to the company 35 years of experience in managing and designing a broad range of transportation and civil engineering projects.  His area of expertise is in bridges and complex structures, but he also has substantial experience with buildings, highways, general civil/site, hydraulics and drainage.  He has been part of many notable projects as a designer, including Boston’s Big Dig, the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge in New Haven, the CT Fastrak busway, and the Atlantic Street Railroad Bridge Replacement project in Stamford.  He also served as part of the program management team on the I-84 Hartford project, planning for the rebuild of Interstate 84 through the city.  Prior to joining GM2, Mr. Sacchi was an engineer and manager with TranSystems and spent 21 years at AECOM prior to that.  Mr. Sacchi holds a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University.
