Alan Small leads GM2’s Energy Services Division and brings over 35 years of power and industrial construction, engineering, and business development experience including over 15 years in corporate leadership positions to his role. Prior to joining GM2 Mr. Small held executive leadership positions at several Engineering and Construction firms in the Power Generation, Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, Process Chemicals, Pharmaceutical, and Biotechnology industries.
In addition to leading complex EPC projects Mr. Small has led Business Development teams structuring opportunities, developing and executing capture strategies, and has successfully negotiated contracts for a diverse portfolio of complex engineering & design projects.
Mr. Small has lead Business Development efforts in the New Energy sector most recently focusing on the Offshore Wind industry in the US.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University and completed the Strategic Sales Leadership Program at Rice University Jones School of Business and serves on Boards of Directors for Private Charitable Foundations serving the Boy Scouts of America and the Phi Gamma Pi Alumni Association, a Private Charitable Foundation at Northeastern University providing support and financial assistance to student veterans.
